PUREists Unite in Unique High-End Experiential Travel Community
With the 3rd Edition of PURE Life Experiences (1-4 November 2011) successfully complete we would like to thank all the PUREists who attended. It was with your contribution to this unique community that made this week such a huge success and we all feel priviledged to have been part of it.

Well, I have to thank you again for the invitation to this fantastic event! I have to say that it was great really!! I mostly chose NEW products, because I really wanted to meet with new destinations, products, people. And this worked 100%!! Not only that the appointment system worked 100%, but also the new people were extremely interesting and I took lots of input back home. I am still in the process of briefing my team with all the new things, because there were so many. Every appointment I had was interesting and I really never had the feeling that this person or product should not be there. For me, this year's PURE was perfect – the ideal balance between appointments, where I met mostly new people, and networking and parties, where I could chat with long established partners and friends. The only concern might be for next year: if you still manage to bring even more good products to the show, I might have to double myself to meet up with everybody I like to meet!!!

I would like to make a follow up on Pure itself as it was such a great experience. I was actually impressed by the high level of organization; everything has been perfect. About this exhibitors, I was impressed by the level of professionalism of each exhibitors as they really came to meet and make business. They also oriented their speeches around special experiences, added value, specials deals and up coming news and developments. Now and since a week now as I was travelling abroad, I am busy doing the follow up with the most interesting exhibitors. By the way, I really appreciated meeting owners of property always talking with heart instead of the marketing people we use to meet elsewhere. One last point about the first day conference which was really very interesting and well introduced by your CEO; the matter of his speech was really what is to Voyageurs du Monde a priority: added value, experience, emotion. He really talked and satisfied my expectations from the first day.

I've been in the travel industry for 27 years, and never have I attended such a useful event as PURE. I've been to all the other show but never have I been to such a useful and really targeted show as was PURE. I rated at least 28 appointments an 8-9/10 – in terms of usefulness, and established some fantastic contacts that I can use and disseminate to colleagues back here at Phil Hoffmann Travel. The difference was in the size of the event, it's layout and the ability to engage one-on-one with a vast array of well-considered suppliers. Even pre-event, during free networking time and also at lunch-time, I was able to engage with people I didn't have on my list. It was a very relaxed forum, unlike say attending other shows, where you need a compass and the best walking shoes ever made to get through even one day of the madness.

I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for another AMAZING trade show. This is my third year now and must admit that I was wondering if I would get as much out of this one as I did on the initial PURE and the 2010 show, as I thought I would have already seen a lot of the suppliers…. How wrong was I!!! This was the best yet…the number of new suppliers were fantastic. The quality of the suppliers brilliant and my only regret is that we didn't have an extra day or two to allow me more meetings. I just didn't get enough!! EVERY single meeting I had was with exhibitors that should definitely be there. I had approximately 70 official meetings over the three days and I hope to do business with 95% of them. That is an amazing result. I have already contacted 5 new suppliers with bookings, and a number of suppliers I had met from previous years with new bookings. Too exciting to be able to do that in the few days that I have been back home.

On behalf of my team, I would like to thank you as well as the entire PURE team for their dedication and solid organization. It has been a pleasure and an inspiring experience to be part of PURE 2011. I have received very interesting feedback regarding our property and work in Siwa. Though it has been difficult for us to join the PURE adventure after a difficult year, it is not a decision we are likely to regret. We will see after some time what it brings but I am confident it will be positive.

The quality of the suppliers present and format of the 3 day meeting schedule really works well. PURE was purely the BEST. I have been to all of the major such events and it surpassed the others in all respects. From the quality of the suppliers, to that of my direct colleagues, the buyers, to the venues (each a different delight), to the overall venue, MARRAKECH, it was top drawer all the way. And size does matter – it wasn't too big, thus affording a more intimate and dare I say, even flexible, format for networking of all types at all kinds of levels and mixes. Super-congratulations are in order all around, and a big "thank you" for including me this year (and hopefully in the future). I cannot even imagine what it takes to pull of something of this scope and depth, but you have done it! More specifically, I have been around this business for eons, so I've seen a lot of ideas come and go. Events such as PURE (I don't think there are any comparable's, actually) help to keep me fresh, informed, up-to-date, and connected. I met people that I didn't know about, found new ideas to refresh my client relationships, and different, more creative ways of looking at some of the many opportunities of which I was already aware. This type of dialogue and interaction serves my clients and my professional colleagues in equal measure. So again, thank you all.

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to congratulate the PURE team on an excellent week in Marrakech. Being a first time attendee I did not know what to expect but I am pleased to say that all my expectations were far exceeded and I thoroughly enjoyed myself both during the day and at the evening events. For networking and meeting business contacts, both old and new, it really was second to none and the evening functions you hosted were truly memorable. The logistics of getting us all from A to B were superb and from arriving at the airport to getting from the hotel to the Palais des Congres I never felt that I was left wondering what I had to do next. You all ran a very tight ship and you should be very proud.
