DISCOVER HOW ECUADOR IS INVITING TRAVELLERS TO RECONNECT WITH THE WORLD IN ITS LATEST CAMPAIGN
As all our experiential heroes know, an integral part of PURE’s Change Worlds manifesto is to help others reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Ecuador has taken this belief to the heart in the latest stage of its ‘All You Need Is Ecuador’ campaign, which invites people to ‘Feel Again’ through the incredible diversity of multisensory experiences the country has to offer.
The first phase of All You Need Is Ecuador encouraged potential visitors to associate the experience of visiting Ecuador with love, using The Beatles’ famous anthem as a trigger. Now, the country is evolving this message by seeing love as a response to the senses being awakened, positing four distinct ‘worlds’ within Ecuador that provoke different emotional reactions: the Pacific Coast, Amazon, Galapagos and Andes. As our Founder Serge, Event Manager Emma and Marketing Director Cj found when they visited Ecuador earlier this year, each region offers a totally different way of experiencing the country and exploring contrasting sides of the self.
To communicate the Feel Again concept to an international audience, Ecuador has been taking it on the road with a series of global events. In New York, a bus printed with messages such as ‘Where there is nothing, you will find everything’ and ‘Even the coldest places will warm your heart’ toured the city, with a series of accompanying billboards and a video in Grand Central Station. Meanwhile at the 2015 Milan Expo, a demonstration pavilion was conceived to give a taste of the sensory experiences the four worlds have to offer using 3D holograms, a deodogram system, map projections, music and cuisine.
With such an emphasis on reconnecting with the world and yourself through travel experiences, it makes sense that Ecuador will be returning to PURE 2015 to bring our community The Social. As a rendezvous point for PUREists and the venue for our welcome drinks and daily lunches, it’s set to continue Ecuador’s ‘Love Life’ message of sensory exploration and connection. We can feel the love already…!
