President at Entree Destinations
Marc Telio is the founder of Entrée Destinations, a leading DMC that specializes in operating exceptional travel experiences across Canada and Alaska.
Born in Montreal, Marc fell in love with travel at a young age. After graduating from university he set out to explore the world, starting with India, Japan, Australia and travels through Asia and Africa.
After four years of overseas travel, the only career option was to join the travel industry. Marc opened the company at the age of 24 and, in his 22nd year of business, greatly enjoys his work with his co-workers, his partnerships with Entrée’s suppliers, and the travel community across Canada and Alaska.
Every season Marc and his team spend days in meetings to explore how they can raise the bar for their guests. Entrée is a premium operator and the staff work hard to deliver at the highest level. They do this by selling with integrity, setting expectations accurately and operating with thoughtfulness, small touches and meticulous planning by their operations team.
Marc lives in Vancouver with his wife and their two teenage children. His greatest passion is to enjoy travel with his family, exposing them to the wonders found in different cultures.
Senior Travel Designer and Product Manager at Jacada Travel.
Joyce Choi is a “legless bird” who never stops flying and exploring. She is a travel designer for Jacada Travel in Hong Kong.
The thirty-year-old Cantonese was born and bred mostly in Hong Kong. Her brief yet formative childhood in Vancouver allowed her to call anywhere “home” that houses her memories of life and growth. Joyce caught the travel bug when she backpacked solo in nine countries the summer she turned fifteen. Having been to all seven continents with Space being her final frontier, the legless bird still gets excited boarding a flight – the closest to what she knows as a time machine.
Her addiction to travel led her to leave the media for the travel industry. The wannabe mixologist believes the best travel experience she creates for her travellers is a personalised cocktail of senses, adventure, understanding, connection and a feeling at home. Joyce always allow for time to wander and room for serendipity to work its magic. She believes that travel is irresistibly addictive and powerful because you never know when you’ll lose your heart, find your soul in a foreign place, where renewal and epiphany could just be around the corner.
Joyce’s life motto: Work hard. Play hard. Travel hard. Live hard.

Global Director of Leisure & Luxury Sales at Starwood Hotels & Resorts
In spite of being born in the German forests, Sarah joined the industry by sea – as a deckhand on a charter yacht in the South of France. Post her studies at the Ecole Hotelier de Lausanne and work experiences ranging from Walt Disney World, Florida to Villa management in Tobago, she found her home at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 2001.
After a couple of years in Munich she joined the team at the Palace Hotel, part of Starwood’s Luxury Collection, in San Francisco. From here, a place with rich history and cosmopolitan soul, she fell in love with the playful personality of W Hotels. Leading the Sales team for the W Retreat & Spa Maldives she was able to define experiential travel in a very unique way – whatever/whenever, really.
Today Sarah is part of the Corporate Office for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, designing and leading strategies for Leisure & Luxury travel and leading the respective Global Sales teams in Europe, Africa, Middle East & Russia.
